In March of 2015 the District Board of Directors instituted a new fundraising policy for its Community Partners to help offset the rising costs of operating and maintaining facilities at their highest level as well as a 40% rise in insurance rates.

The groups were asked to share 10% of only their profits from their fundraising events at GDRD facilities.
